Homemade Hot & Fluffy Donut Balls
This is one easy & delicious weekend treat! Movie night with family, date night or just a treat!
Less than 20 minutes from start to finish, warm fresh fluffy donuts with 3, yes 3 chocolate dips! Serves 2.
- White chocolate biscoff
- Creamy milk chocolate
- Rich bittersweet dark chocolate
For the Dounuts-
- 175g plain flour
- 2 Tsp baking powder
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- 50g sugar
- 140ml natural yoghurt
It really is this simple, mix all ingredients together in the bowl until you get a sticky dough.
Wet your hands and roll into 8 balls.
Heat your vegetable oil and test the oil with a tiny amount of batter, if it sizzles instantly it’s ready.
The only reason foods become oily is because the oil isn’t hot enough and it just saturates the food. Hot oil is always needed.
Carefully drop the balls into the oil and cook for around 6-8 minutes.
They will initially drop to the bottom then float up, then start to brown, you will need to flip a couple of times but as these are balls they may turn naturally.
Pop on a kitchen roll when taking out to drain remaining oil then roll in sugar.
Sauces-
- 120g white chocolate plus 1 tbsp biscoff spread
- 140g milk chocolate
- 140g dark chocolate
- 300ml pot double cream
You will need to divide the chocolates into three bowls as per the photos.
Heat the double cream in a pan until hot, pour over each of the chocolates equally and mix thoroughly.
Don’t worry if you haven’t fully melted the chocolate, you can always microwave for a couple more seconds until fully melted.

1/2 & 1/2 Cookies
Chocolate & Hazelnut Cookies.
This cookie is a firm favourite with everyone that's tasted these, the best of both worlds. High energy, full of good fats and can be made Paleo & Vegan too. These are naturally Gluten Free as their made with oats.
This is actually two recipes in one, so if there is one side that you prefer, you can just make that! If you want to do separate cookies too, that ok!
Ingredients
For this you make 2 doughs...
Hazelnut Dough & Chocolate Dough.
For the Chocolate Dough-
3/4 cup natural peanut butter
3 tbsp water
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
75g oat flour (blended oats)
35g cocoa powder
1/2 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp bicarbonate soda
1/2 Tsp salt
100g chopped dark chocolate
Hazelnut Dough-
3/4 cup natural peanut butter
4 tbsp water
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp oats
110g oat flour
1/2 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp bicarbonate soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
50g crushed hazelnuts
For both doughs, blend the peanut butter, water and honey until smooth in two separate bowls.
Add all of the dried ingredients up to the salt and mix well.
Add half the hazelnuts to the vanilla dough and half the chocolate to the chocolate dough.
Scoop half of each dough on the baking paper and create a full cookie. Top each half with the toppings and bake for 12 minutes at 175•c.
It’s probably best you save this recipe because it’s going to best highly requested...
